iDVD - Altering sound/music levels on the themes

Bought 15" Powerbook about 3 weeks ago and so far have mostly been using iMovie and iDVD. The 2 projects that I have burned to DVD so far both suffer from the fact that the music on the menu page (theme), is far louder than the audio of my movie clips. Is there a way around this ? These are mostly tracks I've imported from iTunes. Unless I'm missing something there's only a choice to turn music on or off.
