I posted this on Apple's discussion forum, and right after I did, the whole discussion area went down. I hope I don't replicate that here....
I can make a Quicktime movie and it will play fine on my Mac. But when I bring it into iDVD and burn it, the resulting DVD "stutters." It does this no matter what DVD player I use. It's as if iDVD inserted duplicate frames every two seconds. The effect isn't huge, but it's definitely noticeable and definitely not part of the original movie. It doesn't seem to matter what quality level the burn is at. From "Best Performance" through "Professional," I still get the stuttering.
Anyone else notice this or find a fix?
