iDVD Background Images Not Appearing

Hi all,

I'm on a mac running Leopard using iDVD 5.0.1 and it's not cooperating. Besides text, no images of any kind show up on the DVD menu. The backgrounds included with themes don't work, and any custom image is just as troublesome. So basically, my DVD menus are black voids with Text and music if I so choose to include any.

I have no idea what to do... anyone seen this before?
