I've been working on a film on imovie for over 3 months, and now that I've exported it to idvd and burned it onto a disc, when I put it in my dvd player it skips around and acts as if the disc is scratched (I know it's not because they are brand new dvd-r discs). Our dvd player works perfectly fine with other DVDs, and I'm planning on sending this film to a group of friends. I don't know if my dvd problems have to do with how big the file is or something. I have room to experiment because we bought a 100 pack of dvd-r discs, so anything you might suggest, I am thankful for.

yes, I have a small portable DVD player that seems to be working fine with the disc, but I'm still confused as to why it wouldn't work on my big screen. Like I said, it works perfectly with every other DVD I play on it.
