Ok...total newbie here.

I have a 700mb or so .avi file that I would like to be placed on a DVD so its playable in DVD Players. Typically on my old Windows laptop I would have used DVDFlick to turn the .avi into VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files which would burn fine on a blank DVD and leave me with a DVD playable in normal DVD Players.

I would like to do the same with iDVD. Turn an .avi file into a DVD and where I could make an copy of.

When I tried to make my own DVD (with a menu and everything) it keeps saying "Your project exceeds the maximum duration". When I checked the Preferences, it says me 700MB file requires 7.12GB of space. Any help?
