iDVD in Snow Leopard

apparently this has happened to me countless times when trying to burn a DVD in iDVD (version 7.0.4).

I customize how i want my DVD to look etc, but when i get to the burning process it only encodes the title menu and then it automatically quits. WHY?

i've trie several times and repaired the disk permissions, etc and yet it continues to quit on me.

i need help
