idvd menu problems - Help quick??

After burning, during playback in my DVD player, I'm able to able navigate through 2 pages of menus with 11 chapters, but no matter which chapter I click on, the disc automatically begins playing chapter 7. I've rebooted the DVD player and even burned again using a different batch of discs (without the long re-rendering process) and the exact same problem continues.

The movie is 1 hour 55 seconds long so I'm trying to avoid the 12-hour re-rendering process to try something different. Any solutions/suggestions?

Did you use imovie for editing?

When you preview the menus in iDVD prior to burning do the chapters work? Did you edit the video in imovie? If you did my guess is that the connections in imovie are not the way you want them.
