I have a rather bizarre problem that I've never encountered. I have some AVI files that I'm trying to burn to DVD with iDVD. For the most part it works perfectly, however two files, when BURNED, have no audio. It plays in Quicktime just fine, and when previewing the DVD in iDVD, it plays fine, however, once the disc is burned, those two files have no audio in either my iMac or my DVD player. The Video works perfectly for everything.

Quicktime reports the following things for the codecs used in my source files:
Xvid (Perian), 720 x 544, Millions
MPEG Layer 3, Stereo, 44.100 kHz

And is the same across all the files. Is there something i can do with those two files (i.e transcoding to another format) to help prevent the loss of audio once burned?

Thanks in advance :)

I solved the problem by using MPEG Streamclip and transcoding the file to DV and then burning.
