I have created a dvd of my Africa trip...everything transferred in pro-quality, 4:3 format...the images suck...very poor quality. Any suggestion on why this is happening or recommendations for a different program. About 650 images...takes a good 4 hours to burn....thanks

Your problem is that you used a high megapixel camera to take good pictures, and then gone ahead and put them into a piece of software that down-samples all of them to fit NTSC standards (so down to 720 by 480 pixels). Try using iPhoto to make your DVD, it's designed for pictures, and slideshows tend to come out better.
