Hello, hello.
I recently bought a 27" inch quadcore imac, this makes me very happy.
However, given sheer size of the screen, its ratio and the distances you can expect me to be sat from it (whilst at the desk), dvd's are obviously very grainy to look at.
Now I understand HDMI to an extent and the quality I can expect, but my knowledge of dvd upscaling is limited.
Does idvd upscale on my 27" imac? If not, what can, and will it make a noticable difference if I am sat right next to the thing?
I am mainly watching dvd's at half the screens width.
thanks
