iDVD problem

When ever I try to start the program, it would start then shut off. I think it has to do with iLife 08, does anyone have a work around or solution for this problem?

The first thing to try when this happens, for any application (not just iDVD), is moving its preference file(s) to the Desktop then try relaunching the application. If it works now just reset your preferences and trash the old, corrupted ones.

The preference files are located in ~/Library/Preferences. ~ is your home folder (the one with the picture of a house and your short user name). The one you're looking for is called com.apple.iDVD.plist.
