iDVD question about recording times

Can anyone give me a clue as to why I've always been able to copy AVI on DVDs via iDVD using One Step DVD, and if it's an hour or 2, it usually takes between 60-90 minutes tops.

But now, for some reason the time indicator gives me anything between 5 and 8 hours for the same type of thing. No settings have been changed, have checked all.

Any idea people?
