I am noob (been on Mac a week and a half with this new 2.4 Ghz MBP).

I don't think I have ever tried opening iDVD before. My Mac shipped with iLife '06 and an updgrade DVD. I upgraded - everything else seems to be working nicely.

When I click iDVD - it bounces in the dock, I see a flash of what I presume is the intro screen, and it disappears. I notice in the 'Console' app it shows: ##**## Not encoding -> exit(5)
everytime I try to open iDVD.

I am not sure where to start poking? Should I reinstall iLife? I would hate to bugger my new Mac up just for iDVD. Is there a Mac equivalent of 'Safe Mode' or something that I might try?

Thanks!
