iDvd/Software Update problems

I clicked "Check for Updates" in iDvd and it said there was a new version. When software Update Opened it Just Showed Quicktime, iMac EFI, and Airport Update. What do I do to update?
 
Okay now along with my old problem, I have a new one.

I was burning a DVD, and now it says "Multiplexing and Burning: done" and it spit the DVD out with nothing written on it. What now?
