I've tried a couple times and am having trouble getting DVD's i burn in iDVD to play back on any DVD player at all other than my macbook. My macbook can play the disc just fine. I messed around the with settings and changed it to 16:9 ratio, Professional quality, and dual layer disc format. I've tried 4 DVD players and all they do is make alot of noise and say disc is unreadable.

Could it be the actual disc? It's a memorex DL DVD+R. or could it be the fact that the files being burned are all .avi? i was under the impression iDVD encoded the videos into the right format.
