I've made a few home videos and burned them to dvd and even after i delete the project it still seems to be taking up room on my hard drive. Can anyone please explain why this happens and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance

iDVD "not returning" free hard drive space

I'm having the exact same problem

I had 70Gb of free available space in my hard drive before I started building my iDVD project. I trashed the project file right after I burned the disk (it was a 4Gb iDVD project) and of course I've already emptied the trash.

I even perform a "secure delete" of the trash using Onix but my disk's still displaying 55Gb of available space...

I really don't know what else to do. I know the iDVD project file includes all the assets and encoded files, so if you trash it, all of them are supposed to be trashed too... but I'm still missing 15Gb and I really don't know where did they go?

Thanks in advanced for your help.
