argh! somebody help.
this is the deal. I was upgrading the CDROM that comes in the powermac
G3 "blue and white" to a Pioneer DVR-A07 (both of which i bought online off of ebay). I installed with CDROM without problem and then ran the installation CD. but when it came time to open iDVD, a warning popped up saying "couldnt open iDVD; right hardware wasnt found?" something like that.

is the Pioneer DVR-A07, DVD-R, CD -R not compatible with a Mac G3, B/W??

thanks

Brian

I don't think that superdrives ever came w/ G3s, so the software is probably not allowing it to be recognized.
