I would recommend upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 for Windows.
It is an excellent browser experience in the pc side and much faster than the others.

c'mon guys, leave redmond :D
they JUST WANT to (create?) good software :p

...but WANT and DONE ain't the same thing :p

Why wasn't this thread started in a Windows forum?

People on Windows forums already know that the new IE 9 is a great browser.
People running Windows on a Mac may not be aware of it.
Whether you use Bootcamp or another way to run Windows on a Mac, it's a very strong upgrade and works much better than the competition.
Microsoft has actually produced some great software lately-
Windows 7, Office for Mac 2011, and now IE9. All very solid and capable.

IE9 while good in that i don't have to do very much extra work to support it is still not on the level of Safari, Firefox, And Opera.

It is nice writing code once for the most part and it working but it still becomes the lowest common denominator as the other browsers support more features and have better support.

That's interesting.
I found it significantly better that Safari for Windows and Firefox, which I had been using instead of IE8, so I have removed those browsers and am only using IE9 while in Windows now. I never bothered with Opera.
I'm running IE9 on Windows 7 with Bootcamp, and it's much faster and seems to have very good security features.
On the whole, I have been very impressed with Windows 7, and Office for Mac 2011 is fantastic. I don't bother to use Office on Windows side because Office for Mac 2011 is so nice to use.
The only support that I have ever seen for any browser is from other users on forums, so I don't think that is an issue one way or another.

number one reason why not o use IE is the spy-ware that comes with it.
i know its sort of a rumors but is certainly is a deal-breaker for me.

I agree that IE9 is excellent. Using it now. Sleek, fast, simple to use. No fuss browsing which is what I love about Safari. Unfortunatly Safari on Windows... blows.

Kissed goodbye to Safari on my Windows machines. IE9 is great and works flawlessly with MobileMe.
