Correct me if im wrong, but aren't there always some leaked parts, or case pictures right before they come out? July is right around the corner and MacRumors doesn't even have rumor articles about it.

If a new iPhone is coming in July, why haven't we seen any pics?

There hasn't been any shots focusing on which bodystyle there gonna use or "frame" should I say but there has been leaked photos of other parts of the phone.
Because Apple is good at holding stuff back until they absolutely can't. We still have a small while before they have no choice and manufacturing begins.
Last year there weren't many leaked shots (that weren't fakes anyway) because the form factor of the phone was the same, and there was no way to tell a 3G from a 3GS. So who knows, if it's another internal upgrade this year, with no change to the form factor, there may not be any pics to leak.

yea, i remember the matte black casing last year that was shown many of times, that might have been dumped but was prototype. or maybe it was always fake.
Then i remember the leak of photos from i think a chinese site with some people taking pictures of the compass app... (if i remember correctly they were taken in a car) but those turned out true.
But any true leaked photos didn't really come till the last month leading up to the event. believe me we have plenty of time
as soon as the new macbook pro's are finally out and the 3g ipads ship, the rumors of the next iphone will start ramping up

Give it time. We already know Apple will release an iPhone this summer. They have annouced it at WWDC for 3 consecutive years (I don't see why they would stop) plus there is a ton of rumors about the new iPhone. It will happen, don't worry. I think we will start to see some pictures in about a month. Right now it's probably just going to be speculation.

At the OP: We've seen iPhone leaks as early as April, but no real pictures of the iPhone 3GS leaked until the very end of May. So it's not unrealistic for there to be no leaks at this point.
Also, I'd ignore the "parts" leaks. I don't think any of them have ever actually been proven as genuine iPhone parts.
Considering that the 3Gs still seems to have a lot of life left to it, wouldn't it be safe to say there might not even be a new iPhone hardware wise? Looks like they are focusing a lot on the software than anything else.
Lots of life left? Not sure about that have you seen the line up of phones coming out. Htc is going crazy right now. Plus Droid is making a serous push on Apple for market share. I'm not some anti Apple guy, I have had an Iphone for 2 years now and have never even thought of getting anything else. But this is going to be the year for smartphones and it my be time for me to jump ship.
July is like THREE MONTHS away... not right around the corner. Maybe several weeks or days before the keynote we will see one. Remember Apple's iPad had one legitimate leak less that 12 hours away from its announcement.
It is "right around the corner" if you consider the time frame of past leaks. And I don’t necessarily mean actual spy pics of hardware. I haven’t seen ANYTHING. No cases or accessories. Have there even been any code or internet leaks that would show a new iphone device being tested?

Well prepare to be surprised, because I doubt they'll change what have been yearly upgrades - especially with a new OS coming out. Spy shots of the iPad did not surface until the night before the keynote.
We got a leaked pic of what some thought was the iPhone 4G/HD, but the pic was blurry and you couldn't really tell any differences. So it may not have been the new iPhone.
But I remember that there were pics leaked of the new screens the iPhone will be using, and it's a little larger than the current iPhones, so I guess the new phone will be bigger.
