Hi guys,
I recently bought a mediasonix ProBox 8-bay JBOD enclosure. So far it's working out pretty well, connected to a new macbook pro via USB 3.0.
One glitch, though, when I put the MBPro to sleep, and then wake it up, I get a "The disk was not ejected properly" message. Mediasonic has their own forums, and when other users complained of this problem, some of their admins replied
"You should not worry about that, Since your computer went to sleep mode and wasn't doing anything so no damage will occur, the enclosure will wake up and the hard drives will mount."
If this is true, I'm fine with just having the occasional error message. However, I'm a bit dubious. Can you guys confirm that this is true and I really can't screw anything up this way?
