If Duet could work with Windows Vista/Cool Edit Pro that are installed in My iMac?

I'm thinking of buying a Apogee Duet for my iMac. I know that it'll work perfect with GarageBand, Logic... or other audio application on Mac OS X.

My question is: If Duet could work with Windows Vista/Cool Edit Pro that are installed on my iMac?

Or I have to buy a audio interface other than Duet?

I'll really appreciate if anyone has been using Duet could give me some suggestion!
