If I bought this laptop and put in SSD how fast would it be?

I do hope this is just a joke. That would be one of the worst tech buys I could think of. You'd be much better off with some used $150 Core 2 Duo laptop with a regular hard drive and 2GB RAM than a $50 laptop with a Pentium III, 192MB RAM and a $100 SSD.

There are pata SSD drives.

Edit: Just noticed this thread is 2 months old. I can't think of why this was revived in the first place.
