If i buy a iphone that is not unlocked and not jailbroken but has firmware 2.0 will it be a huge pain to restore it back to 1.1.4 and unlock using pwnage.

I've been looking at the same and it doesn't seem that bad to downgrade. There's a guide on iclarified about how to downgrade from 2.0 to 1.1.4 and it seems pretty straightfoward.
