No they will put you in a pot and make stew out of you then keep your iMac for themselves and use it while eating the stew

No new iMac on September 9th. They are launching the iPhone and iOS 8. Not a new iMac.
Why not buy what you need and use it now or wait for a new release. People that buy with a predetermined idea to exchange just push the price up for the rest of us.
