own a retail full copy of Leopard, now installed on a intel mac mini (originally running intel Tiger)..

the question is can i use the now useless leopard license to install on my iBook G4 running PPC Tiger??:confused:

my iBook G4 is semi-dead anyway (some logic board failure i suppose)..

yes
what was stopping you before (other than a good conscience)?
If I remember correctly, there was no serial number/key for leopard.

but, in the event that I'm wrong, and it does have a key, you can still put it on your other mac. And might as well, since its the newest OS that particular mac, being a PPC, can handle.

However, the logic board failure may cause it to become completely useless when upgrading the OS (apparently, theres memory on the logic board that is only used when upgrading/installing an OS. If this is fried, everything is business as usual...until you try to install a new OS. Then its goodbye, mac. Happened to me once. Sad day)
