If I cancel an Apple preorder (for at&t), how long until my line shows eligible?

I have an order for iphone 6 plus 128gb space gray 3-4 weeks shipping. If I cancel my pre-order today, how long until my line shows I am eligible for the upgrade again? (2 year contract?)

I want to purchase from a best buy that has a regular iphone 6 in stock locally.

Not for this one, but a previous iPone, literally it was about 1hr after I cancelled AT&T had my account ready to upgrade again.

An AT&T rep told me it can take up to 3 days, but its usually within minutes.

I got mine reversed in minutes before I picked up my 6 at Best Buy yesterday, but like it have been said already it can take up to 24 hours. AT&T will have it in their system instantly (well 30 seconds) after the order is canceled.

It only took minutes of canceling with Apple for it to show back as upgradable on my ATT account

Returned my launch day pre-ordered 6+ about an hour ago to the Apple Store, when i went to check my status on Apple.com and AT&T's website, it said I was eligible for an upgrade again.

Surprised to see AT&T on the ball like this!

Gabriel you better call AT&T. I returned my 6 plus to apple (which I regret now)and I upgraded to the 6 within minutes....

On Wednesday before the launch day, I decided to place an order on Apple.com, and decided to wait 3-4 weeks.

On Friday, I decided to see what the hype is all about. I got there at 2 PM on Friday and learned that they still had 6 Plus available. I got a reservation pass for the 6 Plus Gold 128 GB. I then immediately canceled my online order. Within a minute, I got a confirmation e-mail that I have canceled the order and I checked my AT&T app and got my eligibility back.
