Likely dumb question, but I am also amateurish when it comes to electronics.

When opening Mac, it asks for password. I've had couple of times recently issues of first time typing password and it won't work. Typed second time right away and it was okay. So, was it just me being tired and messing up long string of letters and numbers or could it be sign enemy was inside first time and then quickly let me log in twice, sensing I was coming?

If you start typing before the Mac is fully awake it will not see your first character or two you typed. So it will work the second time around. Or you could be mistyping.

Maybe wait a second before typing or type just the first character to see if it shows up before typing the rest.

Oh, thanks. I always thought I waited long enough, but maybe this is also why.

Thanks for putting my mind to ease. I always jump to worst possible conclusion, even if it sounds insane. :)
