I guess I'm not as much of a geek as you, since I don't get it! :p

1.37pm==>13:37 ==>1337 ==> L33T ==> Leet. Unfortunately I occasionally notice it too sometimes  , but don't refer to it as leet 'o clock ;)

My friend did that the other day - he pulled out his mobile phone and it was 13:37 and he said 'Hey look, it's l33t O'Clock' and I thought it hilarious obviously.

When he asked why I hadn't noticed that before, I pointed out the fact that I always have my clock in 12-hour format

23 minutes to 2pm is 1:37 or in 24-hour time 13:37

1337 = leet in geek terms

now I'm somewhere in the middle of geek-ness because I understood it, but don't refer to 1:37pm as "leet o'clock"

EDIT: dang, too slow.

geek, or dork? :)

Personally, I never found 'l33t' to be equated with geek, more with gamer-teens.

If I start seeing 1:37 as 'l33t' now, I'm coming after you people! :D

Fantastic! Although secretly I hate you now because I'll forever think the same thing when 3.14 runs round (and I'll actually get it this time because that works in 12-hour time format  )

It's OK. One morning, I woke up and rolled over to look at the clock. It was 4:04 AM. When I saw it I thought to myself "aw, sh*t; page not found!"

I even made an away message to commemorate the moment.

Throughout the day, I often look at the clock and think "Pie time". :p

Hahahaha....now that's funny! I'm not sure which part, though. The original "it happened" part, or the part where you made the away message. :) You're a geek!

No, I'm the slow one!

Great, now I'm going to see 4:04 errors everywhere and pi o'clock too since I'm usually still up at those times of the day. I always use 24 hour if I can. Its an hour past leet now!!

I thought it was pretty amusing, myself. I made the away message after I woke up for real. I was thinking to myself that I had already been awake once when I remembered what happened. Then I remembered my thoughts at the moment. It just stuck me as particularly odd, and I never wanted to forget it. :D

And, of course, it goes well with my ever-growing collection of amusing (IMO) away messages. People must be entertained while they obsessively check the status of their friends!

4:04 am, yup.

I hate it when I wake up at 5:00 as well.

This very morning, I had a bad feeling about one of my mate whose irc name is 'Pep'. I saw the reflection of my alarm clock in the mirror, it was 9.39. Reminded me of the shining!

R3drum!!!

Here's a few to get you started.

Listen very, very carefully.

Copernicus was an early astronomer who studied the movement of celestial bodies (such as stars and planets), and was the first scientist to theorize that our planet was not the center of the universe, but was, instead, in motion around our sun. This theory dramatically changed out understanding of the universe.

Later scientists went on to discover that our sun is also a moving body that circles within our galaxy. Others noted that our galaxy also circles around a central point in the universe.

To review: Our planet is but one rock orbiting the center of the universe.
To clarify: You are living on our planet.
To conclude: YOU ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE!

If by "the Loch Ness Monster" you mean "totally exists and is awesome," then yes, it is just like the Loch Ness Monster.

I think we should breed a new type of midget that's even shorter than normal. We could call them Shetland midgets.

Just tell Nemo you couldn't find him because you were out getting stoned.
He'll understand.
RESPONSIBILITY.
Your anti-drug.

Out being responsible.

Working out. If I don't come back, then whoever told me "a little exercise won't kill you" lied.

I like. I have boring things and never really set Away messages. One of my friends screen-name is

If love isn't a game, how come there are so many players?
Bit old that one though.

Everytime I look at the clock, it's 3:33PM and it reminds me of Eternal Darkness. That game still gives me the creeps.
