if i get an iphone is it safe restore my jailbroken back up from my 4s?

my backups have been while it has been JB'd...wondering if it'll cause any problems when i get a new iphone that isn't broken. tbh all i need to really transfer over is my phone numbers

You should set it up as new so nothing carries over and to avoid problems.

Just do a restore. You will almost certainly be fine. Store your contacts in iCloud, or with Google (what I do and prefer) in the future.

they can be. or at least used to be. i'd like to keep my contacts on an external source like my PC in case of emergency
