I ordered my MBP a week before the BTS deal but Apple is just great and they told me that since its within 2 weeks that they would email me and hook me up with it in 3 weeks. Well 3 weeks later I got the email with the code. The thing I am wondering is if this code is unique to me and my email address or could I give it to someone else? The reason I ask is because I have nothing to buy from the App store or iTunes - I have all the music I need and applications as well (MS Office 2011, Moom, Day One, etc.) so I am set. My goal is to offer the code to a friend willing to paypal me $85 but I am unsure if I can just give him the code and if it will work. Yes I realize I am taking a loss but I have a much greater benefit with liquid cash than having credit to Apple.
