Is this reversible?

Also, what is the best way to jailbreak it? I come from the Droid world, where you had to hack and install ROMs, and format your whole phone each time you wanted to switch...Will I lose any data by jailbreaking?

you can always restore it via itunes.

only way to do it for a 4S is here:

you will not lose anything jailbreaking with this tool.

Do a back up before jb.

Restore if your not happy via iTunes.


Ive just jb my iPhone 4 and it's fun learning but just don't go silly.
Ask and google.

Erm, as I understand it redsn0w will jailbreak an iPhone 4, not a 4S, you need Absinthe for that.

And yes, a full restore will remove the jailbreak.

It is possibly to mess up your phone so badly it cannot boot into restore mode, but you can always get it into DFU mode and then restore, no matter how badly you mess up the firmware.

I did jailbreak my phone..But now I have to figure it out...
