If I jailbreak, will I lose the ability to download software updates OTA?

I have an iPhone running iOS 6.1.3. Losing the ability to update the firmware OTA would be a dealbreaker for me, because I don't want to download any new firmware to my computer.

That is correct. OTA updates are a no-go if you are jailbroken.

No using the restore options will result in a boot loop. When jailbroken, updates and restores must be done on a computer.
