So I just got a MBP, and it came with Lion 10.7.4, but apparently a different 10.7.4 from the one I bought a few months ago. I attempted to download it from the app store and was told that version could not be installed on my MBP. So, how do I make a bootable USB drive with the installer on it, if I can't actually download the OS specifically for my MBP? There is no other download available for me.

I would rather download the installer in the background now and have it ready, rather than use the restore feature and wait 5-6 hours for it to download when I actually need it. Has anyone resolved this conundrum?
