If I order the iPhone 5s online through Verizon does it come factory sealed?

I'm planning on ordering the new 5s online tonight when they become available. If I order it through Verizon will it come factory sealed or do they open it for activation and then ship it to me? Also, if I purchase the phone with a 2 year contract extension (for discounted price), am I able to sell it and just keep my current phone? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It will come to you factory sealed.
You can activate it, then switch it back to your old phone, then sell!

Would you have to even open it and activate it? couldn't you just not activate it and continue with your old phone for 2 years?
