If I pay 1/2 the cost of a new Verizon can the rest be in installments?

If not then I guess I would need to setup installments for the total cost, then a little later send them a big payment. However, this probably won't decrease the monthly payment amount. But it will allow me to pay the phone off faster. This is probably why some folks just trade in rather than sell.

Are you buying through Apple or Verizon?

Apple is offering a special financing deal. 24 months interest free if you buy using the Apple Card, plus 3% cash back on all payments. You can pay early if you like.

Sounds great except right now I am forbidden from applying for new credit according to my financial plan. However, you have given me idea. I could just put the balance on one of my existing credit cards and pay it off as quickly as possible. You're gonna get me in trouble with misses.
