I don't trust shipping because I would waste more time being worried about arriving.
But I also don't want to wait 2 hours in line just to pick up a phone that I already ordered/paid for.

if you pre-order at midnight you can't choose in-store pickup, shipping only. if you wait 24 hours before launch day then you can choose in-store pickup for Verizon Stores.
