If I reset MacBook to factory will it update me to Yosemite?

As stated in recent thread, considering resetting my mac.

When I do this it wont auto update me to yosemite will it?

Right now im 10.9.5 and want to stay here, yosemite is bad with Pro Tools 11.

no, won't update unless you "purchase" it, the recovery tool is still installed as 10.9

the recovery image will be your current os. Internet recovery will be whatever your original o/s was

To add to the previous, correct information, Internet Recovery will bring you back to the OS your Mac came with, regular Recovery will bring you back to a clean install of whatever you have installed now.

To do Internet Recovery start up with: Option Command R.

(Regular recovery is Command R, although even that will still boot to Internet Recovery if it can't find the local recovery partition).

It resets back to whatever OS X came with your Mac, out of the box.
