If I return iPhone 5, how long till I'll receive my full upgrade price again?

If I return my iPhone 5 to my local Apple Retail Store, how long will it take to receive a full upgrade price on any other phone?

Almost instantly. I returned one of my iPhone 5 at 7pm 2 weeks ago.

When I got back home from apple store amd checked online it resettled my upgrade and I was eligible for full subsidy upgrade immediately. I live 12 miles from mall. So took me 17 minutes to get home.
