I am getting ready to do a system restore back to an earlier state. But I want to keep my safari bookmarks they way they are. I'm not sure what will happen after I restore my iMac, and then sync with iCloud. Will iCloud automatically replace my old bookmarks with what I currently have stored on the cloud (which is what I would like)? Or will it instead somehow merge all my old bookmarks from my restored state with my current ones that are on the cloud?

I did export my current bookmarks and saved the file. So I guess if the answer above is the latter, I will let it merge, delete all my bookmarks, and then import my saved file.

I'd just like to know what to expect.

Thanks
