I know AW3’s GPS supposedly doesn’t need to be calibrated, but it still seems to be a good idea to calibrate it for more accurate step count and whatnot.

I’ll be migrating from iP7 to XS so I’ll have to unpair my watch from iP7. Will I lose the fitness calibration settings on the watch and will have to recalibrate it when I pair it with XS?

Thanks.

If you unpair the watch and then re-pair with the new phone, everything will port over automatically. Unpairing essentially backs everything up onto the phone. Of course, I'm assuming you will be restoring the new XS from an iP7 backup?

Yes, I will.
