...open up the App Store to the Apple TV. Seems like a no brainer first step to dominate the living room.

Then I'd invest in manufacturing facilities in the US, even if it's a foreign company's facility, a la Toyota. Designed in California and made in China is not the highest and best use of Apple's capital.

Next, I'd create a device that ran both iOS and OSX. It doesn't have to be as powerful as a MBP or as simple as an iPad. If you don't want it or don't get it, don't buy it. (I'm obviously not the pitchmen my predecessor was).

And after that, I'd turn my focus into creating a platform to take "smart" homes to the next level. The tech is there, the reality is not.

Edit: Forgot to add this, buy an internet delivery service, preferably wireless. Purchase Sprint, Clearwire, DirecTV or some other service and expand the hell out of it. An end to end Apple experience would be AWESOME!

i would be for simple solutions

1.) split the company in Apple mobile devices and Apple computers

2.) make OSX open source

3.) expand the product range of Apple computers by a new desktop between the mini and MacPro based around the AMD bulldozer platform , a smaller 18.5" iMac based on AMD bulldozer

4.) drop all prices by 33%

5.) bring back full support for PPC

6.) offer a wider range of processors (Power architecture ,AMD,intel)

7.) a new flagship Mac called the PowerMac G7/G8 with IBM Power7 and future Power8 processors
8.) a new basic Mac Mini with AMD Llano priced @ $250 rrp

9.) all Mac's made out of recycled materials

10.)all Mac's Made in Cupertino

why with my ideas Apple would be market leader outselling dell , asus,acer... within month and osx would run within a year on more computers then windows

A market is never saturated with a good product, but it is very quickly saturated with a bad one.

A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.

A business absolutely devoted to service will have only one worry about profits. They will be embarrassingly large.

The highest use of capital is not to make more money, but to make money do more for the betterment of life.

There is one rule for the industrialist and that is: Make the best quality of goods possible at the lowest cost possible, paying the highest wages possible.

i like Henry Ford a true business man he created Fordism

seen enough issues with Mac's and most seem to think a computer priced like a Mac should have no issues , so simple thing to do is dropping the price back to realistic values

and my goal as CEO of Apple would be
in 5 years from now in every household around the world be it a penthouse in dubai or a hut in zimbabwe at least 1 Apple Mac
and i would create Appleism so even the poorest of the poor will be able to buy a NEW Mac, because my strategy is selling to income based prices @25% of your monthly income with proof , but first droping the prices to realistic value , then step by step down

It bears repeating: good thing you're not running Apple.

whats so bad with the idea of flawless Mac's for everybody , i would even send you your money back if you would find a flaw and a new one without that flaw
free of charge and with full warranty for 10 years with no added cost
and some of my Mac's are 10 years old an never needed any spare parts , that proofs it is possible to produce long lasting quality

if i would be CEO you would not have to be priviledged or fortunate to have a well payed job and you would not have to go into dept to own a Mac any student would get a mid range Mac for free too

Exactly. You don't have a clue how the markets work.

I would make a carbon fiber MacBook. Apple needs a more durable laptop for the person on the go constantly, and aluminum does not cut it. Polycarbonate has been my option forever. My laptops take abuse. My black one has been dropped over 10 times and everything functions perfectly and it looks good. You can't do that with aluminum. It's ruined on the first drop.
