If it's revealed on March 15 like many of the rumors suggest. When would it actually be available?

Same as it is speculation it will be announced in March, availability to purchase is speculation by any of us.

Yeah no I get that. But how has it happened in the past.
I'm new in the apple world. I'll admit I used to hate on apple quite a bit. Now I own more apple products than I like to admit lol.

In the past, it has been that it will be announced, and during the announcement, there will be information on when it will be available. Depending on the product, some products were available the same day, others a week later, sometimes a month or more later. I can't remember exactly how it went with previous iPads. It really has varied a lot.

The best launches are announced Tuesday, for sale the following Friday (a week and a half later). Worst launch ever must have been the Apple Watch, I put that down to it being a new product category. It varies and it also depends what devices launch together. I'm assuming they won't want products tripping over themselves, so iPhone 5SE the week and a half scenario, so March end and the iPad early/mid April.

I believe the mini 4 was same day but iPad Pro was roughly a month later. I don't remember how the Air 2 went.

Yes, exactly. iPad Pro was a month, mini 4 the same day, and I don't remember how it was with the Air 2, or Air 1 for that matter. I'm sure it wasn't same day, and I don't think it was as long as a month, but I can't remember exactly how long it was between announcement and release.
