Im still on 13.5 on my SE 2020. Not updating until there's a jailbreak for it and/or a more mature iOS 14 build with proven good battery life on this device (personal reasons, non negotiable)

every time I hook up my watch to my wrist, it prompts me to update to 6.2.8

I may just update to get rid of that, from 6.2.5 but if it isn't going to solve the issue maybe I wont

I’ve had my XS Max jailbroken on 13.5 since May and don’t have any plans to update the software to iOS 14 until there’s a jailbreak for it. I am upgrading to the 12 Pro Max when preorders go live but I’m going to keep my jailbroken XS Max on 13.5 and my S4 on 6.2.8 until I’m ready to update to WatchOS 7. I haven’t received any alerts to update my S4 yet.

Does 6.2.8 pair fine with 13.5 notifications wise, and talk-to-text replies ?

Good battery life too? ill likely update to it

It’s been okay for me. I haven’t had any issues. I workout more so my watch drains more battery. I now finish the day at 30%-40% before I recharge at home before bed.

ah may be moot

watch app is saying I need to update my phone first, which aint gonna happen

so maybe staying on 6.2.5 after all and just dealing with the prompt I get after overnight when putting the watch back on not a biggy

Yeah I would do that. I refuse to update and lose my jailbreak. I’ll deal with iOS 14 whenever I get my 12 Pro Max. Honestly I don’t want to update to WatchOS 7 anytime soon, because I’m not ready to lose force touch yet.
