Never Ender
I was looking around to see what Mac Pro's were going for on eBay. I noticed most for sale were the 2.66GHz first generation models, going for $1500+. I then came across Gainsaver.com. They are selling 2x Dual Core 3.0Ghz Mac Pro (Early 2008) for $1389. I think this is a total bargain and I am sharing this with anybody that is looking for a Mac Pro for cheap. Unless I am totally wrong about this deal?

DO NOT BUY! i can confirm that this site is a scam, a friend was about to pay like $500 for a macbook and he was waiting for it to be shipped for like 2 weeks. He didnt get ANY reply from the emails he sent, and calling the phone they give just plainly tells you to send an email... BE CAREFULL, its a scam

Aren't you glad now that you didn't have $1400 :D

Yes and no. I can't wait to get a Mac Pro. I wanted the PowerMac G5 back in the day, but I settled for the iBook because of costs and need. It is just a sick machine. I will probably get a Mac Pro in a year, but not a new one.

First post here actually... so hey.

Just actually purchased a possibly too good to be true deal off of ebay. Went for a $1299 used 2.0Ghz Mac Pro from a company called CWI, Computer Wholesalers Inc.

Ordered it yesterday, I'll let you guys know if it gets here in one piece. If anyone's heard anything bad about these guys definitely let me know, they had 99.3% positive feedback, and have been on ebay for over a decade apparently.

Just a tip for those interested, while pricegrabber.com doesn't include all sellers, it will never list fraudulent sellers. The same applies to dealmac.com. Both reliable, handy sale sites.
