if Ordering 2 or more iPhones Will they come together or Separately?

I am going to order 2 each iPhone 6 Plus, one for me and one for my wife. But will the Apple site allow you to do 2 orders at once or in the same order and will they be shipped in one box, or separately? I would hate to have to finalize the first one and then have to fight my way back into the system. I remember at one iPhone launch it took me appx 2 hours to get through after midnight and I was trying every minute it seemed like. What is your guys opinions?
 
You'll want to make 2 separate orders. The reason: Server Congestion. You'll have to tell the online store what line you're replacing. By the time you get through all of that and add the iPhone to your cart, you'll want to make sure you capture the order before the server kicks you off. So I recommend clicking BUY after you get 1 loaded into your cart.

If you're quick enough, they'll come in separate boxes...but arrive on the same UPS/FEDEX truck.
 
Really? Isn't that going to double the shipping? Also, I'd have to wait for two deliveries?

Shipping is free. And even if you order two at the same time, they usually ship separately (at least in the initial wave).

Again, if you're quick enough and place your order before shipping times start getting pushed back they will arrive on the same day. Therefore, they will come on the exact same delivery truck at the exact same time!
 
So if server congestion would kill my order if I took too long (by ordering two) what are my odds getting back in under the same conditions if I ordered one then one?
 
My husband and I pre-ordered on the 12th (in store..) with AT&T and his just shipped yesterday and is getting here today, but mine still says "Preparing to Ship". No tracking order, just the same it has been since we ordered. Any idea when mine might ship? I'd see it reasonable that mine could ship soon since we ordered both phones on the same day....:confused::eek:

I hope you learned your lesson for next time. I have had every iPhone since the 3G and only ordered through AT&T once. It went ok but there are many horror stories of people ordering through them. This time around it seems the worst. It looks like they barely got any stock. Apple on the other hand, has always gone smooth. They also have much better stock of iPhones. Better luck next time :)
