I live in a remote city. There is Walmart, Target and Best Buy... If the price of the original drops this morning... Can I go and get an original iPad at reduced price?

How long do you think it will take these retail stores to make the price changes?

Thanks!

in my experience working in retail the companies can download price changes instantly, but usually its within 24 hours, so if we have a price change it'll most likely be tomorrow that you can pick them up in brick & mortar stores.

doesn't hurt to call and ask later tonight though, but odds are it'll be tomorrow

Apple's not going to drop prices. It's up to the stores to figure out how to deal with inventory (unless Apple offers to buy back).
