I assume some of the backlash Apple's received over the new USB-C -only design is based on the decision to not include dongles - something I assume Apple is feeling, as there is a limited time campaign (until the end of the year) which significantly discounts some adapters.

Being an eternal optimist, I'll hope Apple will see the light and start including one or two dongles in the sales package. The question is, which one(s)?

Your turn, and please humor me with sticking to the question (you're welcome to qualify your answer), not questioning my foolish hope that Apple will rather please their customers than fleece them.

Background:
Way back when Apple launched the original MacBook Air, Apple included a USB to Ethernet adapter in the package, for free, and even though using that adapter ate the single USB port in the old MBA. This continued at least to the Mid2009 -version (which I got my wife for x-mas 2009).

This is not the only time Apple has shipped adapters, but until the Retinas and lately the MacBook and 2016 MacBookPro, Apple laptops have been reasonably well-equipped with ports. The comparison to the first-design MBA is thus quite fitting.

RGDS,

P.S. The selection in the poll is based on those adapters (not cables) available from apple at this moment.
P.P.S. Make your selection on the assumption of dongles to be shipped with an MBP (which unlike the MB has more than one USB-C port)
