I feel like I would probably lean more towards purchasing it. It is probably the category of user I fall into. However, I cannot stand the current MacBook Air. I don't like the "wedge". The bezel is huge. So while the MacBook Pro is too much computer for me, the Air is just a lot of money to spend on something that I do not like. If I could wait on the purchase of a new computer, I would. However, I need a new one now and my department will buy it - so I need to take advantage of this opportunity.

Am I the only one who feels like this? Or am I just crazy?

Well, it is not just you.

Have in mind that we still do not know what Apple will release and when. We assume that there is an upcoming revised MacBook (Air) that meets our expectations, but that simply may not be true.

The latest computer called "MacBook" released by Apple was a 12-inch version of the current Air. It also had a wedge design and a bezel as thick as the one in the 13-inch Air.

There's the 13" MBP M1. Same bezels as the Air (but no notch), and no wedge design. I don't really see how the bezel is "huge" but to each their own I guess.

It honestly doesn't sound like you need a new computer. Most people who actually need to buy a new computer don't complain about bezels. They ask whether the computer runs well and if the keyboard is comfortable.

I get how one might gather that from the bezel comment but trust me, I do.
