I'm gonna go and get my imac on friday, and will probably get an ipod touch with the student deal. Just wondering though, if they don't have any in stock, will I be able to get them to send me one, or reserve one for me?

Or, does anyone think it's worth waiting another week or so for the leopard announcement? I'm not gonna install it right away even if i got it free, as I'd wanna wait for the bugs etc to be fixed, so would probably wait for a few updates before I made the switch.

I'm pretty sure the student iPod/Mac deal is over, ended in September. There are no student prices on the iPod line anymore either.

The back to school promo is still active in the UK. As to answer the question not really sure: they say that both the iPod and the computer have to be bought at the same time. Probably best just to ask a store employee if the situation comes up.
