The wifi only ipad 2

Whats a reasonable price to offer them? Ipad is in good condition

Remember this is family so consider you should get the family discount

Is $250 fair ? Without pissing them off

I think that's pretty reasonable. If it's your mom though, just give it to her for pete's sake.

A reasonable amount to offer them is whatever they'd get in their pockets selling it to someone else, possibly a little less due to the lesser risk.

If you're initiating the pricing the polite thing is to offer roughly market value. If they wish to sell it to you at a lower price, that's their choice.

Expecting them to give you a significant discount is pretty presumptuous. Why exactly should they end up with less money in their pocket from you vs someone else?

See completed sales on ebay of similar models for rough pricing, then account for the ebay and paypal fees -- several ebay fee calculators out there can help with that.

$300 seems fair. I sold my old iPhone to my nephew for $2/month for the next 24 months. hahaha I gave him a good discount and good uncle credit rates!:p

Depends who the family member is. Is it a rich aunt, or your cousin who is a poor college student? Usually you pay a little less when buying from family though.

Depends.

How old are u?

If buying from ur father. How well off is he. If your father is well off and you are poor student he shouldn't charge u at all.

For family members(brothers/sisters) since my electronics are relatively new, I charge them 50% of value if it's less than one year old.

I discounted my sister recently a 4 month MacBook Air current gen model by 40%

My mother obviously I cant charge my mother anything. She's mom. If my father were still alive I wouldnt charge him.
